This was a blast to do. Kontxt was commissioned to help refine a mobil point of sale platform from a design perspective. We developed a user interface and informational sales booklet for the project. The client asked me to help them take their core idea of a mobile point of sale and develop it into a fully realized working model. This included planing out each step of the users interactivity, from layout to digital mock ups. Working to help take a product idea and visualize it in its entirety was fun, challenging and rewarding. I found that good design should be as exciting to create as it is to experience. The most fun was finding a way to make the interface not only look good but fun to use. We hope to see it live soon.

Client: BL Lighting

Project: 2010 Product Catalog

With a planned print run of 30,000 units, this 64 page catalog was made to show just how impressive BL Lighting's product line can be. The project was to help finish off their product catalog, after the first interview and viewing of their source files it was clear that together we could bring the professional touch that BL Lighting wanted to show. We did a completely new layout with special attention to how the information was to be organized. From there it was all about getting great product shots that capture the item itself and the effects it can have. Getting these images was done by careful collaboration with the in house creative staff. With all the right pieces ready we assembled them into a stunning product catalog. We made sure that the layout was flexible and could be used across media platforms, making each item able to be be its own mirco product sheet if needed. We are happy to see the positive responses from the sales force who use them. This was a big step forward in brand equity.

Project: Everything

Null Productions needed to create a brand for their web base services and have a site to go with it. This was a full service project that included not just a logo, but a whole brand standard, communication tools and a website for the service offering. With only a name and rough idea to start with, a clean and user friendly concept was drafted. The requirements for the website was to make sure that the primary content is easily search able and that the ad space has enough breathing room to be effective. After completing a solid logo, creating a line up of branded communication tools was the next step. Stationary, business cards, HTML rich emails, and sales kits where all created to support the brand.

Project: Branding & Communications

Namaste Messenger was a start up bicycle courier company. We were commissioned to create their corporate identity. After providing them with a evocative brand, we established the brand standards and was hired on to produce all of their corporate communications. The company website was a high priority as it was used as a point of sale an account management tool for their clients as well as a hub for sharing company news. Doing the weekly updates of the content also was my responsibility. We made several print ads that appeared in local publications as well as annual reports and visually driven press releases. From this project we got to have our first inside and outside back cover ads.

Project: Consturction Drawings

For this project we were to draft construction drawings and create photorealistic renderings of furniture that where used to both have the item made but also show case it as a finished good for interior designers before it was built to order. Each piece is a one of a kind item and needed to have its dimensions and possible finishings clearly illustrated to the customer. Adherence to Domicile Interiors brand standard was strictly observed while still bring a fresh and eye catching presentation of the furniture. Concept sketches where made based on the input of the in house interior designers and refined to a digital model, then drafted out and lastly presented with style and grace befitting of the company.
